Please be patient
when creating your quote we carefully consider:
  • Size and weight of the vehicle
  • The condition of your vehicle (eg runs and drives on it's own, or requires a winch,
  • not all trucks are equipped with a winch)
  • Current carrier demand and season
  • Pick up and delivery area (will a bigger truck be able to get in and get it out? or will a small carrier need to come and pick up the car)
  • Tolls along the route (these might prevent the carrier to go and get or deliver the car)
  • Transit time
The FMCSA restricts the amount of hours that a driver can drive in a day, even though sometimes there are team drivers (which will expedite the move), they are quite hard to come across. Keep these limitations in mind when scheduling the move

  • Dessant Transport is a family operated business that was established in 2014.
  • Starting out without any personal customers we had to work up the ladder, dealing directly with brokerage companies, their customers, car buyers and car sellers, auctions and dealers, reposession yards, rail yards and ports. Unfortunately, it is quite common to see that some parties are unfairly treated in this "transport chain" (read stories in our blog). We would like to start bringing a small change by providing our customer all the essential information that they will need to make sure that one of their biggest investments is transported the way you want. And as long as your vehicle is not assigned to a truck, we guarantee your money back if you decide to cancel the move.
